Mixing canned nacho sauce with velvetta

I was wondering if I could mix the canned nacho sauce with melted velvetta cheese to make it less expensive to feed a large group of people. I don't know if they will actually stay mixed or will separate.

Yes, but you can also just make it yourself:

1 lb. (16 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 can (10 oz.) RO*TEL Diced Tomatoes & Green Chilies, undrained OR use 1 1/4 cups any chunky salsa or pico de gallo.

This makes enough for 10-12 nacho servings/

Some people brown and add 1 pound hamburger or chorizo sausage, then it serves about 16.

Since you will have to heat to melt, you may just want to do it this way. You can avoid scorching in the microwave, or by heating in the oven in a large roaster, stirring as it melts.
