Having a 60th birthday party in two weeks with about 25 friends- 3 hours on a Sunday afternoon -heavy hors d'oeuvres and dessert (likely cake or assorted cupcakes which I will buy).
Trying to check amounts I should make/buy. Here are my planned menu items:
Mini lamb meatballs with yogurt/cucumber dip (I've done a trial run of recipe and got 36 meatballs out of 1lb of ground lamb)
Cocktail shrimp platter
Pulled pork on small buns
Grape leaves
Chilled asparagus wrapped in Boursin and prosciutto
Cheese/crackers
Baked Havarti and red pepper jam (in crescent roll dough)
Chili-spiced peanuts
Chex mix
Wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee

Enough variety? Do I need veggie or fruit tray?
Thanks for any advice you can provide.

Invite me, invite me! I would do a fruit/grape/berry tray rather than a veggie tray- very nice with the cheeses. This is what I would do:

Mini lamb meatballs with yogurt/cucumber dip (I've done a trial run of recipe and got 36 - 2 ounces per person
Cocktail shrimp platter- 3 ounces per person, 1/4 cup cocktail sauce per person
Pulled pork on small buns- 1 1/2 per person
Grape leaves
Chilled asparagus wrapped in Boursin and prosciutto 3 stalks per person if thin, 2 if fatter
Cheese/crackers-2-3 ounces cheese, 1-2 ounces of crackers
Baked Havarti and red pepper jam (in crescent roll dough)-2 pieces per person
Chili-spiced peanuts- 1 ounce per person or a bit less, and decorate in some way so people know they are spicy.
Chex mix- 1-2 ounces per person
Wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee- beverage planning page, 1/3 amounts for 100

Thanks so much- will add the fruit tray.
Also adding coleslaw as a condiment for pulled pork.
Planning little signs for each item so guests/friends know what everything is.

Sure- would invite you if you're close enough to RI to come:) !
