Mostaccioli Grad Party

Hi Ellen,
I am working on a Grad party with a simple menu, Mostaccioli, Tossed Salad, pickle tray, cupcakes and an ice cream bar. My question is Bread of some sort. How would you keep breadsticks nice (not tough or dried out)? If you chose to serve a dip with them would you serve anything other than cheese or a red sauce? Would Garlic Bread be a better alternative, or what other suggestion for something different might you have~

Nice party and I am sure you will look at the sundae bar page on this site for the ice cream.

Garlic bread provides less of a maintenance issue if you need to keep warm for a long period. However, serving individual bread sticks that a room temp, stiff like a cracker, is also an option. An olive oil dipping sauce with garlic and Italian herbs is a third option.

Look here for the bread recipe I like, about 1/2 way down the page:
