Cleaning the inside of the oven

02/05/12 		I recently moved into a new house and the oven was dirty. I cleaned the inside of the oven with soft scrub bleach and then rinsed it with hot soap and water. Did I ruin my oven?

02/06/12 		Don't know. Gas? Electric? Self-cleaning? Was there some reason for not using regular oven cleaner? Is the oven doing something funny?

02/06/12 		It's electric, I didn't have oven cleaner when I was cleaning it. I'm nervous to cook in the oven now.

02/08/12 		All the chlorine will have evaporated off by now. If it is thoroughly rinsed and dry, turn it on and see what happenjs.
