I am doing a 60th wedding anniversery reception at 2 in the afternoon. I need to know how many pounds of veggies, fruits, and cheeses I need to get. Many thanks Constance |

Congratulations to the couple. This depends on how long the party is- you want 6 pieces/ bites/ servings per person per hour. Also what else is being served and whether there is alcohol. The expanded info is on the sppetizer, fruit tray and veggie tray pages in the Big Pots section, but here is the summary{ Meat and Cheese Tray
Meat, 3 oz. per person Vegetables and Dip
Dip, 3 tablespoons per person Fruit
Dip, 3 tablespoons per person |

I am preparing the food for my daughter's wedding reception(7:00 P.M.) for 275 people. I am serving grilled slice beef tenderloin with rolls, boiled large Gulf shrimp, chicken tenders, chicken salad and pimento cheese finger sandwiches, a hot crab dip, a cold spinach dip, a fresh salsa dip, a fruit tray of fresh strawberries, pineapple, and grapes, and an assortment of cheese along with mints, nuts, cheese straws, bride's and groom's cakes, punch, champagne, beer, and water. How much of each item would you reccommend? Many thanks! |
