welded aluminum foil to black glass cook top

02/20/12 		I accidentaly droped a piece of foil on the glass cooktop and then spilled vinegar and maple syrup salad dressing on top of it trying to remove it - some I was able to get off immediately with tweezers, but the big piece is still there, I have tried the recommended clearner for GE profile appliance but no luck -
HELP it is brand new (one year and never been used) go figure

02/21/12 		Turn to the very lowest heat, scrape VERY carefully. Repeat until clean. It will leaave scars, but you should be able to get it off.
