Hi. I've been cooking chili for the homeless for the last few weeks. Last week I brought 2 normal 6qt pots and it was gone in 10 mins. I have a 4 gal stainless pot that I used for cooking beer several years ago, but it always burns on the bottom, and that was just with watery beer! Do you have any suggestions for a pot I might can purchase that will not burn easily? |

The easiest way to do this type food (stews, chili, etc) in very large amounts is to cook it covered in roasters in the oven. No scorch. This is discussed in the church social chili recipe on the chili page. |
