Good work Whitney. Since this is a midafternoon reception, people will eat 1/4 to 1/3 less than at mealtime. Very good budgeting strategy.

Self-catering 50th Anniversary reception for 175 Friends are celebrating 50 years of marriage and have asked me to do the food. I am REALLY good up to about 75, but have never had to serve this many. I'm in a panic! This will be a Sunday afternoon reception when most people have had a heavy Sunday lunch. Our menu:
Croquembouche (instead of cake) making 300 two-bite cream puffs
Butter mints - 250
Punch served in 6 oz cups: 350 servings - 35 gals As a side note, what is cheese slaw? |

Good work for your friends! For cheese slaw, put "cheese slaw" into a Google search and you will find recipes and pictures.
Croquembouche (instead of cake) making 300 two-bite cream puffs- good You will probably have leftovers of all the desserts, but you will not run out! Fruit tray - watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe - 24 lbs, plenty Butter mints - 250; size?
