Hi Ellen! Thanks so much for this site! It's incredible! I'm planning a 30th birthday party (surprise) for about 75 invited people. I have hired a pig roaster who will provide the pig, (plus rolls and sauce), cole slaw, potato salad, and baked beans. I was going to make a meatless ziti for non-pig eaters, as well as a tossed salad, and maybe cornbread?. I'm just not sure how much to make - 8 lbs dry pasta for the ziti? Is the cornbread too much? Also, I was going to make some homemade desserts (small peanut butter balls) as well as buy a sheet cake. Do I need more?
Thanks! |

How many cups of Jambalaya would a 36 cup HEAVY pot hold? |

Hi Lindsey, Yes, 8 pounds s just about right. Cornbread is fine, but is a lot of last minute oven- since you also have the pasta to deal with- you need a full sheet or a 2 layer half sheet, and the peanut butter ba;ls will be fine. Make them 2-bite size. |
