need to know how many hours and at what temperature to roast in an electric roaster 3 - 4# of beef tenderloin? I will hopefully have room for 3 roasts in each roaster. The beef must be well done. any suggestions? |

No suggestions, cooking in roasters is not an optimum choice and cooking well done is, well, a culinary crime... |

I agree that well done isn't a choice HOWEVER our guests don't want to see any pink or red whatsoever---- I would sear the roasts before putting into the roaster oven -- I'd like to have a steady temperature on the roaster-- any thoughts? or, should I just change choice of beef??? |

It is just such a costly waste. If they want well done, consider a sirloin tip roast cooked low and slow to well done. See the beef roasting page for discussion on time and temp. |
