Bridal English Tea Party for 25
Jenna 06/19/12	I am getting ready to host an English Tea Party. Can you tell me if I have enough of the following food items to feed 25 ladies? The items that are listed are the only items the bride to be wants served. 50 Chicken Salad sandwiches on homemade mini wheat rolls (Chicken Salad is made with chicken, grapes, apples & Pecans) 50 Pineapple Cream Cheese sandwiches 50 Olive and Cream Cheese sandwiches 50 Petit Fours 50 English Scones Clotted Cream Not sure how much to make English Tea - 2 bags per person How many white and brown sugar cubes do I need? How much Cream for the tea do I need? Thank you so much for your help!
ellen 06/19/12	I have several articles on tea parties which I recommend you read, and explore the links. This can be a lot of fun. Have one iced tea special, such as peach tea, or hibiscus, especiially if is is a summer party. Make the hot tea with loose tea in pots- 50 Chicken Salad sandwiches on homemade mini wheat rolls (Chicken Salad is made with chicken, grapes, apples & Pecans) 50 Pineapple Cream Cheese sandwiches 50 Olive and Cream Cheese sandwiches 50 Petit Fours 50 English Scones Clotted Cream Not sure how much to make- 1 cup per 5-6 have soft butter and jam or maramalade also English Tea - 2 bags per person allow 1 pound each sugar and 2 quarts whole milk- cream is used for coffee, not tea, in English tea.
