Hi Ellen,

We are having a wedding July 28
we are going to have Roast Beef, Mash Potatoes, and a veg medley of baby carrots, yellow and green beans, rolls, gravy, horseradish ,served buffet style from 6:00pm -7:30pm there will also be a snack buffet set up at 9:30 or so that will have salades, veges and dip, cheese and crackers, meats and pickles.
the roast I plan to cook in the counter top electric roasters.we only have one oven and I am sure I will need at least 4 large size roast, I think sirloin would be the best cut.
and probably a 50lb bag of potatoes, and Maybe about 15-20lb of the vege.
do you think I will have enough groceries?

Not quite enough in some areas

Roast Beef, 65 pounds raw boneless
Mash Potatoes, 60
veg medley of baby carrots, yellow and green beans, 28 pounds
rolls, 2 per, butter 3 pounds per 100
gravy, 1/4-1/3 cup per person
horseradish, 1 cup per 8-10

snack buffet set up at 9:30 or so that will have salads, veggies and dip, cheese and crackers, meats and pickles.
Do 1/2 the amounts for meals listed on the various planning pages, see especially the appetizer planning page.

You need an appetizer/nibble table after the service and before the meal. Simple; fruit tray, cheese and crackers/bread, and one or two good spreads/dips. Covers the hour while pictures are taken. Especially important if there are kids at the wedding.
