We are hosting a family reunion in August and so far have about 80 people attending. The first night we plan on serving pulled pork and hot beef sandwiches with chips and vegetables . I am hoping you can help me with the amount of pork and beef we should purchase. We were thinking maybe 40# of pork butt, and 25 -30 #'s of beef. we do plan on using left overs at lunch the next day along with fixings for baked ham and grilled turkey. I appreciate any help you can send my way.

Cindy, more people eat beef.

With pork and beef sandwiches, I do 1 pound raw boneless beef per 3 plus 1 pound raw boneless pork per 4; they shrink almost 1/3 in cooking.
