I am planning a going away open house for one of our ministers. We are just doing cake and punch/lemonade so I am good on the amounts there. My question is how many tables to sit up. Since it will be an open house from 2-4pm and we aren't serving a full meal, I wouldn't think we would need seats for everyone. We have been told to plan for 400 total. |

Looking at at least 200 per hour, plan on at least 12 8-tops (standard rectangular). If space permits, up to 20 would not be too many. |

we are going to use 60" rounds that seat 6-8...sounds like we need to plan for seating at least 100 at a time. |

Round is even better- sociability improves. |
