I am making homemade applesauce for an event for 70 people. They are serving pot pies but have no other food item offered other than the applesauce. How much do I need to make? |

I would do 3 gallons. But also, how about adding at least good bread/rolls, 10 pounds, and 2 pounds butter? |

We are having a Hanukah dinner for 80 people. We will be serving appetizers, salad, latkes, a chicken entrée and several vegetable side dishes plus dessert. We are planning on two latkes per person. How many cups of applesauce would we need if most people will put a dollop on each of their latkes? We don't know if we should consider this a side portion serving or something less that a side portion. |

A dollop on the latkes is about 1/2 a usual side serving; 2 #10 cans would be plenty; that is about 6-7 quarts. |
