Hi again, Is there such a thing called a fudge maker or fudge cooker for large crowds. If so where could I get one that will not cost a arm and a leg.Thanks. |

Hi, Ann, Fudge is easy to mess up, even wet weather can ruin it, and you can't make more than a double recipe at one time without risky chocoalte sauce instead of fudge. Large scale candy making is a VERY special process, it uses much specialized equipment. I have never seen this adapted for home use, and do not know what to suggest for huge batches of fudge. The only suggestiopn I have is to use one of the recipes that uses marshmallows or marshmallow cream and semisweet chocolate or chocolate chips, these do not have to be boiled and you may be able to make them without any ruined batches. Use small beautiful packages with ribbons, packaging is half the sale for candies. Good luck! Ellen |
