Hi Ellen, I read through your Taco/Potato Bar page and only want to clarify a couple things. First, with the bake and hold method for potatoes, will the hot cooler actually keep the potatoes hot for up to 6 hours? And with a taco bar, is there any way to keep the taco meat warm for transport, or will it have to be preheated in an oven and then transferred to a chafing dish? Thank you! |

Yes, if you do it exactly as indicated and pack the chests after thoroughly preheating, it will. It is NOT desirable to keep the meat warmish during transport; make ahead, chill and heat on site, then transfer to chafing dish. |
