Hello, I am planning a wedding reception for 60 next September. I was wondering if I am heading in the right track.
whole hog (ordered/ various sauces) We will be serving 6 gallons of tea, water, beer, and wine. Desert will be a cupcake tower wit 3 pp. Appetizers fruit and cheese, spinich artichoke dip with crusty bread, brownies. |

Menu is fine, amounts need tweaking.
whole hog (ordered/ various sauces)- 60 pounds whole, head off
stewed squash and onions 3 lbs- 15 pounds
potato salad 4.5 lbs- I usually do 4 gallons for 100. Even with your other dishes, you need at least 2- 16-18 pounds
cole slaw 3.5 lbs- I usually do 12+ pounds for this size group
Rolls 120- 80 OK with hush puppies Have at least 1/3 of the tea unsweetened. If this saves you time, trouble or money, consider a donation to support the site. |
