Does anyone have the phone number or web address for Deland's Bakery? I've been diagnosed with a Wheat & Corn allergy, but I am not celiac so I can have other glutenous grains, just not wheat... Or does anyone have a good bread recipe that's free of wheat AND corn. Desperate at this point! |

Ina Garden Old World Breads is a dedicated wheat/gluten free facility that makes outstanding gourmet quality gluten free bakery breads. They do make a delicious old fashioned potato bread and a potato sesame bread that is wheat/gluten/corn free. They also will ship anywhere. Their web address is: www.inagardenfoods.com Hope this helps. |

Have you tried Spelt. Many people that are not Celiac can have Spelt. We have a good recipe if you are interested and able to have Spelt. |

Rice Flour is your friend I second the recommendation for Bette Hagman's "The Gluten-Free Gourmet". I found it at a used bookstore and it's my 2nd most referrenced book behind "Simply Heavenly". I do not eat wheat nor corn either in a 5 month duration experiment to alleviate migraines. So far so good!! |

I made a recipe tonight that I got from allergygrocer.com. THey have WONDERFUL recipes, for free, and also a huge selection of pre-made foods, mixes, etc. I placed my first order from them today. Their web site says if you need help with any recipes, to ask. And you can search the products by putting in the foods you're allergic to, and you get a list of what's available. Give it a try. |
