Cindy, this turkey won't fit in most regular ovens. It is about the size of a 5-6 year old child. You can cook it by splitting the back half off and cooking the two pieces in 2 ovens, in the very large blue enamel roasting pans. This also keeps the breast from getting overdone while the dark meat cooks. An electric roaster will take a hind quarter, but probably not a half. |
