I need to find out how much coffee I need to buy to supply for 200 guests for a seminar. I will be buying Starbucks beans and haiving them ground for the event. Help!! |

On the beverages for 100 page in the Big Pots section, you will find the exact info you need, you just double for 200, including reminders about hot water, tea, cream, sugar, etc. The way I would plan if it was an all day seminar, I would make the breakfast coffee amount for the first round (signup, etc) and the dinner coffee amount for the mid morning and mid afternoon break. Unless you plan to switch to iced tea and cold drinks for the afternoon? Also don't forget to provide ice water, people are drinking more water now. Decaf versus caf: remember, caf people can drink decaf, but not vice versa, so err in the direction of decaf. Allow at least 2 paper cups per person *SAM's has hot cups that are paper). Styrofoam :Bad! Allow 1 hour for a 50 cup perc to brew. |
