installing a frigidare smooth top cooktop

09/17/05 		How ne I install a new frigidair smooth top cook? I'm having trouble with installing it on the hinges.I made a mistake by not noticing how the old ones were put on. Is there a picture somewhere of how do do it? I can't find any instructions or diagrams.

12/04/05 		If you call the customer/tech assistance number for your brand, they can give/send the info and tell you how you must do it to keep your warranty in place. Several readers have installed their own. You can also get it installed, but be sure you get a firm that has done these before and gives a warranty on their work. If they do it wrong and it is ruined, you might have voided the warranty.

02/02/06 		i need instruction on installing glass top on fridgedare range mine was damaged by accident and i need to replace top . i found the part but i am not sure if i should order it or leave it for a pro any advice would be appreciated. thanks cartcook

What is your warranty situation? Both the stove and the replacement tops may have restrictions on installation to keep the warranty intact.
How handy are you, and do you have good instructions?

UNPLUG THE STOVE BEFORE WORKING ON IT!
