09/20/05 		6 ounces is a fine portion, 1 pound for each 3 persons or 135 pounds. Yum.

06/01/06 		amount of BBQ to buy to feed 400 people
Hello there!
I'm wondering how many buger patties, veggie burgers, hot dogs & salads (potato, coleslaw, green) to order for a 400 person BBQ.
I'm guessing 400 burgers, 200 hot dogs, 100 vegan, 5 lbs. each of the salad. How does that sound?

06/02/06 		You would be OK on the meat, you only need about 50 vegetarian, I suggest the Morningstar brand. The salads, you would be way short. You need 40 GALLONS total. Check the quantity for 100 table and go times 4. I would start with 16 gallons or so of potato salad.
