There will be about 150 people at our daughter's wedding reception. We are having wedding cake and cheesecake. How much would you recommend to have of each? Thank! |

24 pounds commercial cheesecake serves about 100. I would do that, then 100 people worth of cake, this could be a wedding cake and a groom's cake (opportunity for chocolate) or a wedding cake and "kitchen cakes" (same flavor and icing as wedding cake, but 2 layer sheet cake, not decorated). Or, budget permitting just a 100 person wedding cake. It adds up to more than 150 for 2 reasons- wedding cake portions are very small, and many people will take some of each. Cut the cheesecake relatively small. |
