I'm hosting a rehearsal dinner for my wedding in August. My fiancée and I thought it would be fun to have a picnic/BBQ style dinner with us/ our family and friends making the food. My menu will consist of a protein/meat, potato salad, baked beans and a salad. My question is this; how much food so I need to buy to have an adequate amount for everyone. Thank you for your help. |

You need a meat and rolls, could be sloppy joe style, pulled pork or Italian beef, sausage and peppers, or patties; or chicken quarters grilled; then something for the non-meat eaters (depends on what you choose for your entree). I can help with that when you decide what. All the rest, just use half what you need for 100 on the plan for 100 list. I would add fruit trays for color and lightness, see the fruit tray page, and I would do a dessert buffet for dessert- see the dessert planning page. |
