I know it sounds crazy, but we are considering serving French themed foods for a grad party. Do you think that there are ways to prepare/serve French inspired foods for a large group of people in an open house? |

Perfectly sensible. How about chicken marsala (recipe on site); almond rice pilaf; whole green beans; croissants instead of other rolls; cheese and fruit platter, including some dried dates, figs and apricots as well as grapes and berries; many lovely desserts, mousses, truffles, etc. |
