We need to make hot dog chili for 600 hot dogs. Can you tell me how much ground beef we will need? Any helpful hints to prepare a hot dog supper for 600 would be great for a Spanish Festival. I know that we are serving baked beans but we have not been told if they want any other sides. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is for a church ministry. |

You need 1 cup per 8, which starts with 1/3 pound hamburger, so you are talking about 30 pounds lean ground beef, 35 regular. I would have 4 gallons each of pickles and of chopped onions and of very finely shredded slaw. 12 large yellow mustard squeeze bottles, 12 spicy; 24 ketchup squeeze bottles. Hope it goes well. |
