any idea how long 23 pounds of sliced ham would take to heat through in an electric roaster? Also I was thinking of putting a little water with maple syrup & brown sugar over top to keep it moist - thoughts? |

This is really too much for one roaster. If sliced, it would work better to heat it tightly covered time.in the oven and transfer to the roaster at 180 to hold. Otherwise some will be overdry at the sides and bottom, and the rest not hot through in the middle. Try pineapple juice or coca cola instead of water and have a good time. |
