We are having a fundraiser with two bean and beef tostada's with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. How much ground beef, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and salsa would we need to feed 400? We would like to use dried refried pinto beans. Thank you so much for your help! Cindy |

1 pound raw beef per 5 if you are serving; per 4 if it is build your own. 8 pounds dry beans per 100, but you could go 10 if you were worried about amounts. about 28 pounds cheese, grated about 40 pounds tomatoes 1 pound lettuce per 10. If you add rice (8-10 pounds per 100) it is cheap and the plates look much fuller. |
