Hi ellen
I'm hosting a birthday party with 60 guests next week. The menu includes:

Shirmp cocktail, cheese/chrackers, 3 hot dips and veggie platter for apps

Roasted lamb, shrimp scampi, ribs and veggie lasagna for dinner

Shrimp/orzo salad, tossed salad, and cranberry/nut salad dinner rolls, green beans, and mashed sweet potatos as sides

Birthday cake, lemon squares, fruit trifle, pumpkin cheesecake annd cherry cobbler for deserts

About how much of each would you recommend serving?
Thanks!

Roa`sted lamb,
90-shrimp scampi, ribs and veggie lasagna for dinner

Shrimp/orzo salad, tossed salad, and cranberry/nut salad dinner rolls, green beans, and mashed sweet potatos as sides

This is a very large menu for just 60 people and you will have some left overs.

Shrimp cocktail, 1 pound per 6
cheese, 6 pounds
crackers, 4 pounds
3 hot dips 1 cup per 5 for each one- what are the chips? 1 ounce per person
veggie platter, just 2 ounces (4 bites) per person, see veggie tray page

Roasted lamb, 1 pound raw boneless per 4
shrimp scampi, 1 pound raw per 4
ribs- 1 per person
veggie lasagna- about 4 9x13, if there is no other starch- I would do 2 and do some rice

Shrimp/orzo salad, too much shrimp
tossed salad, do for 1/3 of 100, see plan for 100 page
cranberry/nut salad- do 1 gallon

dinner rolls, 8 pounds and 2 pounds butter

green beans- 14 pounds ready to cook
mashed sweet potatoes-

Birthday cake, 2 layer 9x13
Do these in small tarts or bars and tiny shooters, do 40 each
lemon squares,
fruit trifle,
pumpkin cheesecake
cherry cobbler

You will have some left, but this is enough to give everyone their choice.

Hi Ellen. Me & some people from my high school organization are having our 1st anual holiday reunion party for approximately 50 people. I was thinking to cook flavored chicken wings ( lemon peppered, hot, and bbq) chicken shrimp alfredo, deviled eggs, & salad but I have never made this much. How much in amount should I cook?

If this is for dinner, that is a light menu, and pasta is a bit of a challenge for 60. Can you consider some changes?
