I have pork tenderlion. Recipe says to cook at 425degrees for 30 mins. I would like to cook slower: can I cook slower at say 250 degrees but I would like to know how long |

Yes. As an estimate for meat roasting, I multiply the original temp times the original time; 425 x 30 min=12750 degree minutes, then divide by the new temp divided by 250= 52 minutes, approximately. But it is very useful to also use a thermometer, yo want to pull pork tenderloin at 150 degrees internal, and let sit 20-30 minutes before carving. |
