I have a stubborn 21 year old son living with me. He has been purposefully putting regular dinner plates on burners on our smooth cooktop and putting his bacon on there to "defrost". When I tell him this is not a safe idea, he laughs at me. What is your opinion? |

When he shatters the plate and blows the thermostat on the burner, charge him the $900 repair fee and throw him out. |
