Here is the address on my web site for the baking mix, it is a blend of flour and other ingredients for simple baking. http://www.ellenskitchen.com/bigpots/oamc/biscuitmix.html Ellen |

I found this on the internet awhile ago. It is to substitute the Baking mix for the Atkins diet which is very expensive. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to.
Faux Atkins Bake Mix Sift together then store and use as you would Dr. A's. It's much cheaper and things come out about the same. **You could try substituting Soya powder (milder taste) for the soy flour and substituting egg protein for soy. |

I'm interested in another low-carb baking mix. There's a new mix called Carbsense Zero Carb Baking Mix which claims to be a blend of soy protein isolates, oat bran, wheat protein and a pinch of baking soda. Does anyone have a recipe for a faux Carbsense mix? Anyone know of a site that has "reverse engineered" some of the available mixes. I've tried the Carbsense and it works great (but expensive). Thanks... Dennis |
