Hi Ellen, I am going to be helping a friend out with a reception that she is giving. Will you tell us if these amounts are correct. The wedding reception begins at 5:30 p.m. It is for 200 people. Thanks!

Fried Chicken Bites (60 pounds of chicken strips cut in bite size pieces) (400 bites)

Chicken Puffs (Bite Size Pastry filled with chicken salad) 3 per person (600)

Meatballs with dipping sauce (BBQ & Marinara) 3 per person (600)

Deli Pin Wheels 3 per person (600)

Veggie Trays 4 16 inch round trays with dip

Fruit on Skewers (Grapes (red and green) sliced in half, pineapple tidbits, strawberries quartered and placed on tooth picks 3 per person (600)

Warm Creamy Bacon Dip 3 Gallons
Tortilla chips 10 large bags

4 Large Cheese Balls 4lbs each
Crackers 10 lbs crackers

Zucchini Crisp 3 per person (600)

Cucumber sandwiches 3 per person (600)

Potato salad cups (bite size) potato salad served in baked wonton cups 2 per person (400

Pimento Cheese on bite size rolls 2 per person (400)

Sweet Tea 8 Gallons
Lemonade 8 Gallons
Unsweet Tea 4 Gallons
Ice Water

Since it is so many items should I cut back on the amount per person? I know this is around dinner time so the guest will be eating a good bit to fill up. Thank you so much for your help!

Cucumber sandwiches 3 per person (600) Mostly wasted- consider cream cheese and so forth, or egg salad?

Veggie Trays 4 16 inch round trays with dip- OK Might add a classic relish tray from the veggie tray page, olive, pickles, etc.

This is VERY much trouble (do not split grapes) and I strongly suggest you make fruit trays with picks. Easier, holds better, and any leftovers are more usable; use the fruit tray page.

4 Large Cheese Balls 4lbs each- Need 20-24
Crackers 10 lbs crackers- 12-14

These are all OK, and not too much for a dinner time reception

Unsweet Tea 4 Gallons
Very close, consider 12/6 on the tea
Consider adding dinner level coffee with the dessert, see the beverage planning page.
Ice Water- 1/2 pound ice per person, pint to 24 ounces water per person
