I am planning a lunch for 150 girls age 8-12 and their mothers so a total of about 300. How many pounds of chicken would I need to by to shred and make into a pulled chicked BBQ sandwich? |

Each pound of chicken meat makes 5 sandwiches, which will serve 4-5 people depending on appetite and whether you permit seconds. Each 2 pounds of whole chicken or chicken leg quarters makes a pound of meat, thus about 5 sandwiches. So you will calculate according to the amount you want. |
