Bitter Gazpacho

Help! Ellen, I made a giant batch of Gazpacho for an event tonight with 150 people. I have used this recipe before with great success but used a different vendor for my produce. The Gazpacho is bitter and I think it is the cucumbers which were un-peeled as the recipe calls for. Is there any way to correct this? I've added extra salt, red wine vinegar, lime juice etc. What about Sugar?

Yes, sugar, but it will not be as good as the usual-

You need to taste cukes before using, especially unpeeled; or peel if not sure; or sub zucchini. Sorry for the bad luck!
