green beans for fifty - buffet style

Need recipe that isn't saucy, has some flair and will hold in a chafing dish for 2 hours without getting soggy

My most successful recipe of the type was far a Thanksgiving wedding rehearsal dinner.

2 #10 cans well drained green beans, French preferred, or cut
1 #10 can well drained oriental stir fry veggies, bean sprouts, water chestnuts etc
1 familly size can cream of mushroom soup
2-3 cans crunchy French fried onions for the topping
mix in blanched sliced almonds 2-3 cups, with the onions

Mix the vegetables and soup
Layer into the pans
Sprinkle of the topping
Bake until hot and bubbly all though- maybe 40-600 min, dependiung upon depth in trhe pan

Stays tasty until its gone which will be soon.
