Hi, Monica, I sleuthed all afternoon, and learned that American chop suey is basically macaroni, ground beef, tomatoes, sometimes cheese and/or veggies (onions, bell peppers).
So, per 100, buffet style: If you add these items, it becomes Johnny Marzetti:
