Hello Ellen, How many gallons of iced tea, lemonade and water are needed to serve 300 people in a self-serve style buffet? Thanks! |

Nicole, returning from work (this is volunteer, I have a regular non-kitchen obligation also), I see you have posted this question 3 times in less than 24 hours. That's a record. For a 2-3 hour event, not hot outdoors, not mostly kids or teens; About 1 pint the first hour, 1 cup any following hour, plus ice, not counting water, is ample. So you are looking at about 900 cups= 56 gallons of flavor beverages. 1/4 to 1/3 lemonade- this depends on the age and taste of the crowd- and of the tea, 1/3 unsweetened. Iced green tea, with or without flavors, is very trendy right now. 20 lemons or limes per 100. Pitchers on the tables are an option if you don't have many servers; but DO have a separate beverage service area. water, 2 bottles per person, |

Daniel, about 115 gallons. See the beverage planning page for a tea concentrate recipe. You can also but tea concentrates ready made at restaurant supply stores, have at least 1/4 unsweetened. |
