I was wondering I'm hosting a party this weekend for my son's graduation. Were doing carne asada and boneless chicken thighs for tacos.I was wondering how much rice and beans do i need to cook.We are also serving some nachos and 7 layer bean dip as appetizers.I want to make a red salsa and green salsa but don't know how many onions and tomatos to buy. Also wondering if it would be easier to buy a cans of beans and ( how many would i need) to help cut down with all the cooking. |

Hi, Renee, Teens are heavy eaters. I would do 12 pounds dry rice- probably some left- and 6 #10 cans of beans split between the dip and the taco bar. 5 pounds of tomatoes makes salsa for about a dozen people, if there is one salsa. |

I would do about 35 pounds, 1/3 chicken, 2/3 beef. |
