Between my family and my fiancé's family we are doing our own food for our upcoming wedding (with the exception of hiring someone to roast a hog for us). I am wondering on how much of everything I will need. We will have around 175 guests, but some of the people we have invited can eat like a horse! So I am thinking that 200 would be a safe number for us! We want-- Fruit- Strawberries, Grapes, Watermelon, Pineapple and Cantaloupe. How many lbs each? Veggies-- Peppers (mixed colors), Celery, Carrots, Cucumbers, Broccoli, Cauliflower and Radishes. How many lbs each? Meatballs-- Doing two different kinds-- how many lbs each kind? Macaroni Salad-- Doing two different kinds-- how many lbs each kind? Potato Salad How many lbs? Spaghetti Salad (like an Italian but with spaghetti noodles) How many lbs? Italian Salad (more traditional) How many lbs? Baked Beans How many lbs? I feel like this isn't a big enough spread? Is it? Thanks Ellen! P.s- This will be served at dinner time (6PM). |

Wedding Dinner- 175/200 Guests OK, based on your note, I am estimating for 200. Fruit- Strawberries, Grapes, Watermelon, Pineapple and Cantaloupe. How many lbs each? About 50 pounds, but see the fruit tray page- weight depends on selections
Veggies--
Meatballs--
Macaroni Salad--
Potato Salad
Spaghetti Salad (like an Italian but with spaghetti noodles)
Italian Salad (more traditional)
Baked Beans I feel like this isn't a big enough spread? Is it? You need to set up a appetizer table, possibly with the fruit and veg, add chips (1 pound per 15, 1 pint dip per pound) T a he menu is a little heavy, maybe a veg dish (about 35 pounds) If this saves you time, trouble or money, please make a donation, maybe a dime per guest, to support this site. Thanks. |
