In a couple of weeks, I am having an anniversary party. I will be serving pulled pork and burgers for approximately 70 adults and 30 (varied ages) children. This is a bring a dish to pass set up. How many pounds of bone-in pork butt roasts and burgers will I need? Also, the bbq sauce will be on the side - how much will I need of that? How much ketchup and mustard? Finally, how many buns do you recommend I provide? Thanking you in advance! |

Somehow this answer got eaten by the airwaves once, so to try again: One pound bone in beef or pork shoulder makes about 8-9 ounces pulled, which is 4 regular or 3 larger sandwiches. How about 60 burgers and 20 pounds bone in butt? 140-150 buns. At least 1 cup sauce per 5. Condiments, pickles, onions, see the sandwich page on site. I also recommend at least 2 gallons fine-cut cole slaw. |
