School Family BBQ

07/28/14 		Planning a bbq for approximately 500 total teens and their families for a high school.
Menu: hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, chips and
snack bags, desserts.
Need quantities for potato salad and macaroni salad and basic tossed salad.
Salads will be homemade and bought.
How many servings per pound and per gallon for those who purchase their salads.

07/29/14 		I'm sorry, but is that 500 teens plus family members or total 500 including both teens and family members?

You need about 4 gallons potato salad per 100.
You need about 3 gallons pasta salad per 100.
You need about 10 pounds of tossed salad per 10 plus 3-4 quarts dressing (variety is covered in the plan for 100 table).
