Help! My doctor has suggested cutting out dairy products to help my arthritis. Question-if I use lactose free milk is this the answer? I do not like soy products. What tastes most like milk in coffee? I am going to try Vance's Dari free but am worried that is could be a problem as it is potatoe based and is part of the nightshade family of plants/not arthritis friendly. Any help appreciated! |

No, lactose free does not answer to cutting out dairy. There are other milk alternatives, like almond milk or rice milk, available next to the soy milk whch work fine for milk for cereal and most recipes. You MUST deal with calcium supplements if you cut out dairy. I use EZorb as my supplement. |
