I ammaking 100 pounds of water added ham for a church fundtion. I would like to bake the hams first for a nice "baked ham" flavor, slice at home and then reheat in roasters the day of the event. I am thinking of wrapping several pounds of sliced ham in heavy duty foil and adding some water, ? 1/2 cup or so ?, wrapping and putting several of these packets in each roaster on low for the duration of our church service, perhaps 2 hours. Does this sound okay to keep the ham from drying out? |

Sorry for all the typos above. It was early. Wanted to mention we do not have any stove or ovens in our current facility. We have roasters and microwaves. |

Definitely not microwave. There is an article on reheating ham and turkey in the top section of Big Pots. I often add a little pineapple juice to the moisture. |
