My daughters are having a black/white birthday gala for me. We will serve buffet style. guests arrive at 6 pm and dinner is served at 6:30. Is it necessary to have a salad since I am not serving appetizers? The meal consists of smothered chicken breast, mac and cheese, greenbeans or cabbage and a roll. |

I would put salads and bread on the tables, at the places, as this gives something to do while waiting for the line to go down. |
