Hi Ellen--even though we are not even done with Thanksgiving, I am thinking about Christmas. I want to make stuffed shells for 22 people. Ideas on how many I need to make and can I make ahead of time and bake on Christmas Day. Just having salad and garlic bread. Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving! |

Yes, you can make a day ahead, refrigerate tightly covered. Make 3 large per person. Need sauce, about 2-3 quarts. Consider adding a handsome bulky veg such as roasted veg, which can be made ahead and rewarmed before serving, or whole broccoli, for color and flavor. Consider a nice antipasto platter- it IS Christmas. Hohoho. |
