Substitute for self rising flourFlour
Self-rising flour is a soft wheat flour with baking powder and/or soda and salt added. You can use regular all purpose flour to make a substitute, but I prefer to use cake flour or all purpose flour with some cornstrach sifted in:

2 cups sifted cake flour OR 1 3/4 cup allpurpose flour ad 2 tablespoons cornstarch, sifted together
1 teaspoon baking soda (OR use additional baking powder)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix well and sift the above together. Use as self rising
