Hey Ellen; I am planning to serve 250 people baked chicken dinners for a fund raiser. I have everything planned out but the chicken. What do you suggest for the amount of whole chickens to purchase we are serving 1/4 per plate please respond thankx. |

If you were using leg quarters only, 100 leg quarters weigh about 80 pounds= 200 pounds. For whole, it depends completely on the size of the chickens; If you go for 3 pound chickens, also, about 200 pounds.
