My daughter is getting married in May at 2 pm. We don't plan on having a full meal just some appetizers along with a Sundae Bar. The wedding will be outside at a farm with the reception in a nice facility they have onsite. What other appetizers would you suggest we have to go along with the Sundae Bar? |

This depends very much on the time of day, since that will change how hungry the guests are. What time is the wedding and how long is the reception? Write back. |

The wedding is at 2 pm, it will be very short with the reception to follow pretty much immediately. I anticipate the reception to be over by 4 or 4:30 most likelly. |

OK. You want about 8 "bites" per person. A simple item which holds better than regular sandwiches is the rollups made on a tortilla with meat and cheese and cut into bites. Now that the tortillas come in colors from spinach, tomato, and carrot, the trays are very pretty. About 4 bites, 1/2 an 8" tortilla per person. Here are some sample recipes: allrecipes.com/recipe/tortilla-rollups-iv/ www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/course/appetizers/appetizer-roll-up-recipes Meatballs? 10 pounds per 100, 3 quarts sauce per 10 pounds, toothpicks Something veg such as stuffed mushrooms or tiny potatoes, 2 per person, or a classic relish tray, see the veggie tray page, 1 per 100 Something dippy- per 100, 6 pounds crackers or chips, 6 pints dip or salsa If there is not fruit on the sundae table, you could add a fruit tray, see the fruit tray page. |

Oh and one more question. Do you have any suggestions on where I could get large (probably 5 gallon containers) of ice cream. I was planning on having Chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Unless you have another recommendation. Thanks again! |
